This is a 1978 Chevrolet Van constructed by an older gentleman who had a lot of experience in the aviation industry. As you can see, this is a very unique camper. It looks like a combination of a Chevy van, an Airstream trailer and a Boeing jetliner — I have not yet figured it out.   This is not your grandmother’s camper.   Above the cab rests a large sleeping berth with two porthole windows, which will give you a nice morning light when you wake up. The interior is surprisingly roomy and can sleep four people.  The unit is outfitted with a space saving drop down table, a furnace, stove, refrigerator, bathroom, and storage compartments.   The craftsmanship on the wood interior is amazing. Proof of the builder’s talent lies in his attention to detail. The interior is finished in a beautiful wood.  There are few people who would be capable of building a unit like this.  The frame has been stretched, the floors are solid and both the rear door and windows function.     This unit comes with a 350 v8 automatic.  It runs down the road OK. It just finished a 300 mile trip, but it has a minor exhaust leak.
