This is a car primarily for a museum.

This Maxton was the first order placed by a member of the public. The car number 001 was reserved by the owner of the race track used for development by the company. I was offered the second production car 002, but I specifically requested the number 008 for metaphysical reasons.

The vehicle has been fully inspected by the State. It has a clean title and is registered in Cobb County, Georgia. The car was been stored in a humidity and temperature controlled garage since it was delivered in 1991. The car has been drive (in good weather) some 264 miles since received by the factor so to maintain integrity. Recently, the brake, clutch and fuel systems were overhauled. New starter/solenoid and alternator. The engine is in new condition and the rotors have been re-lubricated. The current battery is a new deep cell. Tires and body excellent. As shown in the photos top and side curtains as new. Has tonneau cover. Easy access to car as top has a zipper which opens up for entrance.

For all practical purposes the car is in new condition. It has 532 original miles, of which half consisted of engine breaking in by the engine rebuilder.

The 13B engine was provided by a Colorado Mazda racing shop with a rated HP of 265. It has Dellorto carburetor (overhauled). The original intention was to race the car so all necessary modifications were added by the company.

The fuel cell has been kept filled with ethanol-free gasoline since purchased. The tank has been drained and refilled every year with fresh gas. Car as been started or driven every two months or so.

The Maxton is a race car for the street. During lap runs at Road Atlanta, best time was 1:43:25 min, better than new Lotuses and most Porches.
