For sale is a Custom Built 1992 Howland Convertible Rumble Seat Roadster.  This is NOT a kit car but a custom built car! The Howland Roadster is named for Frederick A. Howland, the designer and builder. The car has custom made fenders and body components from original molds. Sale will include sheepskin seat covers and floor carpet panels as seen in photos. This Howland Roadster utilizes a modified Impala wagon chassis with a new Chevrolet 350 Targetmaster engine, 4 bbl carburetor, turbo 350 transmission, power steering,  power brakes, air conditioning, and tilt steering wheel. The roadster is equipped with complete V.D.O. gauges mounted on a 1/2″ solid walnut hand crafted dash, an ADS and Alpine sound system, corvette 3C seats, fog lights and cowl lamps. The roadster has originally designed and hand built wheel covers. Please refer to photos. The mold for these covers will be included with sale. The rumble seat is operated remotely by an electric switch on the dashboard. High quality car cover will be included in the sale. Again, this is a custom built car, and NOT a kit car. It’s an original design and construction. This Howland Roadster was first registered in Massachusetts in 1992 and it has never been driven in rain or snow. It is from a non-smoking household. It is covered and garaged when not being driven. It has had very limited use. The roadster was used primarily to drive my small children in the rumble seat locally when they were young. This is the only rumble seat Howland Roadster ever built. It has been driven fewer than 2100 miles since it was hand built.
