1968 Fiberfab Jamaican

Ford big block 514 c.i., Edelbrock performance cam & intake manif., tube headers. built Ford C6 trans..Mustang ll front end, Ford 9 1/4 inch rear end (yes, 9 1/4 inch from a Lincoln), 4 link, dual coil over shocks. Sway bars, front & rear. disc brakes all around.

The air conditioning worked when I bought the car, but I have not used it since then. Custom headlights. Previous owner had it built in a shop (I have a magazine article about that) & at $95 / hr. probably cost 150-200 thousand to complete……..

Car has complete upholstery (even the trunk is completely upholstered ). Car has door poppers… Engine has the symptoms of an intake leak, so I am selling it for a discount, New Mickey Thomson rear street slicks. Weld wheels.Electric fuel pump. Radiator was just re cored… Fuel cell. Rear air intakes were redone to be intakes for rear brake cooling. (never completed). Car is 2700 pounds.

Horsepower of 514 big block can only be estimated. All Ford components, registered as a ’68 Ford. Windows close all the way, (unusual for a Jamaican). Front clip, formerly removable, is now part of the body… (To make the car look better, look like a production car, solve the problem of imperfect shut lines) I have enjoyed the car for 5 years, & am ready to move on. Fiberfab in Santa Clara made about 250 Jamaicans, mostly in 1968.

Four coats of red paint, six of clear. Front of car could be rubbed out. There are pics of this car on the various custom car websites. This is the finest example of a Jamaican in the country. Former owner did a lot to prepare this as a race car, maybe even overdid some things. I have a magazine article about this car.
