This 1967 Volkswagen-based buggy is believed to be a genuine Meyers Manx, though this has not been verified. The car has been measured a verified Manx, and found to be consistent with a known verified car, though can not be confirmed. Power comes from a 1600cc Volkswagen flat-four mated to a four-speed transaxle. There has been fairly extensive recent work, including a new carburetor, new exhaust, front disc brake conversion, new lights, and new wiring.

This buggy is finished in copper-colored metalflake paint and is fitted with a set of Western Racing slotted alloy wheels. The rear tires are grooved DOT-legal items. The lights are new, and several chrome and billet dress-up pieces are fitted, including chrome lighting housings, a tubular chrome front bumper, and billet mirrors. A crack is present in the lower corner of the windscreen.

The Manx badge was removed for a photo, which shows that the raised Manx shield is present in the fiberglass on this buggy. The battery and tire humps under the rear seat match the verified car, and the fenders are dimensionally the same as well. Holes are present for the original data tag, though the tag itself is now missing.

The interior is equipped with working stock Beetle instrumentation, and all of the lights, the wipers, and the horn are working as well. An early-1990s vintage Volkswagen radio is mounted in the passenger side of the dash, though it is not wired in. The throttle pedal is a roller, and the brake and clutch are conventional floor-hinged metal pedals.

The seats are trimmed in white vinyl front and rear with matching patterns. No seatbelts are fitted, and the 100 indicated miles are from when the car was assembled.

Power comes from a single-carb 1600cc Volkswagen beetle flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle.

Photos of the underside are provided. Numerous dents and marks are visible in the pan, showing that this buggy has likely been used off road.

This is being sold as a Manx style buggy since it has not been verified.
