Very rare 1965 Rover P6 2000 with 4 speed manual transmission and a 2.0L engine. The Rover P6 was a model that showed remarkable longevity. Initially released in 1963, it soldiered on gallantly until 1977. The P6 was available with several engines during its production life, and this one features the 1,978cc 4-cylinder engine, which should be producing 106hp. This is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The Rover also features power brakes.

The car is in nice shape in and out. The body and paint are clean. It was repainted several years ago after I got it, and still shows well. There is no visible rust. All the glass and chrome are in very nice shape. The underside is solid. The trim and chrome are in excellent order, and the original hubcaps show no visible damage. The same is true of the glass, which looks to be clean and free from flaws. The interior is mint for its age, with very minimal wear. It even has its original AM radio. The clutch operates good, and the transmission shifts smoothly. The suspension is good. The brakes were good but now sticky from sitting. OEM wheels are good with some normal wear. Tires are old but hold air.

The car was running great when I parked it, but it has been sitting for 3.5 years now and I can’t get it to run. The engine bay looks complete and clean.

Selling the car AS IS with no warranty. It has a clean NJ title
