1950 Ford F3 MilkTruck Survivor
Selling off most ofmy car collection.
I fell in love with this truck and had big plans for it.
It was listed on E Bay in May of 2021, located at the baseof Historic Virginia City, Nevada, and was a great visual for the Business thathad owned it, the Chocolate Factory. I remember seeing it when I took the driveto the famous Silver City.
When it was listed for sale, I knew that I had to have it.
I had purchased a very old wooden warehouse on Main Street ofPenngrove , California (Petaluma) and myplan was to recreate a very vintage old fashion ice cream parlor where Grandpascould take their grandkids on a fun outing, complete with old fashion rides, sodas and and penny candies.
Life got in the way, and my plans changed.
I have not driven the truck. It starts and stops. Wasconverted at some time to 12 volt, and if the overhead valve V8 is not original, it was changed at some point from a flathead V8. Not sure if was similar to thebeautiful all original 1949 Ford pick up which did have its original flathead, and recently was sold also (with regret)
I am not at all familiar with this truck. All I can say isthat it is a beauty to look at.
It can be a great show piece for a business? Food truck? Whoknows.
Regarding answering technical/mechanic questions, I will probablynot be able to, so I can only guess.
Use your imagination for what you can do with this beautiful old truck
