Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is happy to offer this racy 1923 Ford Roadster for sale on consignment with our showroom in Phoenix, Arizona.

A Fiberglass kit car like this that’s pretty much a body and a motor is perhaps the best way to enjoy driving if we are talking dollars for horsepower! Luckily, this Roadster has the advantage of being titled as a 1923 Ford too. The build starts with a custom-built frame and a modified Zipper Roadster body that has not been painted, leaving a clean slate for the new owner to make this vehicle their own. Either way, the Black fiberglass looks pretty decent on this car even without a paintjob. There is an attachable canvas top that is stored in the trunk area of this 1923 Roadster that can be bolted on in a pinch. American Racing wheels complete the exterior look of this street rod. Check out under the hood and you’ll get a surprise- this hot rod comes with a modern, fuel injected powertrain that you’d likely find in a General Motors truck or SUV. The 5.3l Vortec V8 engine has been fitted well and according to the seller had around 67k miles on it when pulled from the donor vehicle. Sanderson exhaust headers feeding dual side exiting pipes make for an awesome soundtrack! The motor has been linked up to the 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission with a floor shifter for operation and turns the rear wheels through a narrowed Corvette rear end. Inside the Roadster it’s a fairly driver centric experience with just a few aftermarket gauges to look at and a Black vinyl bench seat to park yourself and a passenger if you’re riding shotgun. As aforementioned, there is storage space in a rear trunk area behind the seats which should prove useful if you’re planning on spending a few hours out.
