Here is a real jewel from the old days of heavy trucks and trailers. Its a teens Fruehauf 20 ft. flatbed trailer with Goodyear hard rubber tires. The tires are in amazing good shape for the age. The rear are duals! The trailer came recently from the family that bought it new! Its amazing that it survived the wars and scrap drives . The Front end is a full cut under 5th wheel for short turning. The wheels all turn smoothly and grease was leaking from them after towing it yesterday down the driveway. The steering all steers well also. This trailer has been stored decades at the original owners property  until this week. The wood deck is still present but will need to be replaced. I have a source for the oak planks should you buy this trailer.  The steel frame work and springs are in great condition. This trailer has helper springs on the rear. The original tongue hitch uses a pintail hook to connect to the truck .Its all in good condition.    The original hubcaps are present as well on the front left is a VEEDER ROOT WHEEL HUB ODOMETER to keep track of the daily mileage. If you own a antique truck and want a period trailer to pull , here it is. It could be setup as a open flat deck with racks, a van body, a tanker or any other configuration you like. Barnum and Bailey used these trailers to move the circus! TRAILER SPECS;  Length – 20 ft. Width 8ft., Height to top of deck 4 ft. Tires Hard rubber-Marked Goodyear 36x7x30 The rear wheels are GoodYear Duals, The wheels are CAST STEEL SPOKED, The Hubcaps are marked – Fruehauf. I would guess this is a 3-5 ton load capacity  trailer. I will be weighing the trailer this week to find out what it weighes as is.
